Automated Image Analyses

The rich information and complexity of the 3D THG images makes quantitating the contained information a challenging task. The images that are acquired are three-dimensional, with typical size 500*500*300  , pixel size 0.5 , and time resolution 20 slices per second. Our aim is to quantitate the number and type of cells in a volume, and to visualize 3D structures through the tissue to aid in diagnosis for research and pathological applications. To this end we automatically segment the images using a number of novel tools.
